TLAP Sports Academy Preparatory Enrollment Agreement

This document constitutes a formal agreement between the undersigned parent(s) or legal guardian and TLAP Sports Academy Preparatory ("TLAP"). By entering into this agreement, you acknowledge and fully understand the terms outlined herein and agree to abide strictly by its provisions. This Agreement is legally binding and is not subject to negotiation or amendment due to typographical errors or misprints.

Terms of Enrollment: Upon submission of the required deposit, the Enrollment Contract must be signed. Deposits and tuition payments are non-refundable once submitted. Your electronic signature holds the same legal weight as a handwritten signature, signifying your understanding and acceptance of the enrollment terms.

Enrollment Fees: To secure your child’s enrollment at TLAP Sports Academy Preparatory, a non-refundable deposit must accompany the signed Enrollment Contract.

Tuition Payment Plan

The agreed-upon tuition amount is payable through an installment plan, which covers team gear, uniforms, room and board, and flights.

Late Payment Policy

Payments received after the 4th of the month will incur a $100 late fee.

A second late payment will incur a $200 late fee.

Upon a third late payment, a meeting with the parent will be required, and the account will be referred to the accounting department.

Failure to comply with payment terms may result in dismissal from TLAP Sports Academy Preparatory.

TLAP reserves the right to pursue legal action for non-payment, including collection of outstanding balances and associated legal fees.

Withdrawal or Dismissal Policy: TLAP Sports Academy maintains a strict policy regarding tuition refunds and reductions. No refunds or reductions will be granted for absence, withdrawal, or dismissal under the following circumstances:

Substance Use: Possession or use of alcohol or drugs (unless medically prescribed).

Mental Health: Inability to complete daily tasks due to mental health reasons.

Endangerment: Actions posing a threat to others or school property.

Self-Harm: Intentional self-inflicted injuries.

Boycotting: Absence from classes or scheduled activities without authorization.

Force Majeure: Events including natural disasters, acts of God, war, terrorism, government shutdowns, pandemics, etc.

Facility Destruction: Damage or destruction of school property.

Operational Inability: If the academy is unable to operate.

Military Induction: Enrollment in the Armed Forces.

Physical Altercations: Engagement in fights on school premises.

Non-Compliance & Disrespect: Violation of academy rules or disrespect towards staff.

Early Withdrawal: Includes medical withdrawal, early graduation, temporary absence, or change from resident to day status.

Bereavement: Tuition obligations remain even in the event of a family member’s passing.

Hotel & Travel Policy

Students must share hotel rooms with teammates and adhere to respectful behavior. Vandalism or destruction of hotel property is strictly prohibited. Parents will be held financially responsible for any damages.

Confidentiality & Legal Disclaimer

This agreement contains confidential information. Unauthorized access or disclosure is prohibited. If received in error, notify the sender immediately.

Agreement Terms for the 2025 2026 Season

This binding agreement outlines the responsibilities of the Player, Parent, and TLAP Sports Academy Preparatory, including financial obligations, legal recourse for non-payment, and a code of conduct.

By signing below, you acknowledge and accept the terms and consequences outlined herein, including adherence to the academy’s drug testing policy. Failure to comply will result in dismissal from TLAP Sports Academy Preparatory.

Acknowledgment & Commitment Statement

I, certify that I have read and fully understand the terms of this enrollment agreement. I voluntarily agree to be bound by them. My electronic signature is legally equivalent to my handwritten signature. I acknowledge that tuition obligations must remain strictly confidential and that this Agreement is binding upon my representatives, assigns, and successors."

Player Commitment

I pledge to be a responsible team member and maintain good sportsmanship.

I will attend practices and games as scheduled and communicate promptly if unable to attend.

I will refrain from negative criticism of teammates, coaches, or the academy.

Failure to comply may result in suspension from athletic participation.

Parental Commitment

I will support my child’s athletic and academic endeavors. I will promote good sportsmanship and ensure a drug-free environment. I will fulfill all financial obligations and avoid discussing coaching decisions publicly. Violations may result in my child’s dismissal from the program.

Drug Testing Policy

TLAP Sports Academy implements random drug testing.

Positive test results may be disclosed to college coaches.

Safe Harbor provisions apply for those seeking treatment before testing.

By signing electronically, you consent to drug testing and its consequences.

Original initials and signatures are required for full acknowledgment.

Deposit and Tuition Payment Policy

Thank you for choosing TLAP Sports Academy Preparatory for your academic and athletic journey. We are committed to providing a premier education and sports experience that fosters the holistic development of our student-athletes. This document outlines our policies regarding deposits and tuition payments.

Deposit Policy: To confirm enrollment at TLAP Sports Academy Preparatory, a non-refundable deposit is required at the time of application submission. Failure to submit the deposit within the specified timeframe will result in forfeiture of the applicant’s reserved placement in the program.

Tuition Payment Options

Families may choose between:

Full Payment: Tuition paid in full at the time of enrollment.
Installment Plan: A structured payment schedule, provided upon registration. All payments must be made by the designated due dates. Failure to meet these deadlines may result in late fees, and continued delinquency may lead to temporary suspension of program access until outstanding balances are resolved.

Refund Policy: All deposits and tuition payments are strictly non-refundable under any circumstances. Tuition payments are part of a binding financial agreement, and once an application has been submitted and accepted, no refunds will be issued. If a student withdraws from the program after its commencement, no tuition reimbursement or adjustments will be granted.

Late Payment Policy: To maintain financial accountability and program continuity, the following late payment fees will apply:

A $100 late fee will be charged for any payment received after the 4th of each month. This must be paid along with the overdue tuition balance. A second late payment will result in an increased $200 late fee for payments made after the 4th of the month. Upon a third late payment occurrence, the parent/guardian will be contacted to discuss a resolution plan. If the outstanding balance remains unpaid, the account may be locked and referred to the accounting department for further action.

Policy Acknowledgment & Amendments: By acknowledging receipt of this document, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms and conditions outlined in this Deposit and Tuition Payment Policy.

TLAP Sports Academy Preparatory reserves the right to amend this policy as necessary. Any changes will be promptly communicated to enrolled students and their families.

Postgraduate Students (5th Year Students): $18,500: A deposit of $2,312.50 must accompany the enrollment application. I have successfully submitted the registration deposit fee of $2,312.50 for my child and am currently in the process of completing the application for admission to the academy. I acknowledge that failure to submit the registration deposit fee along with the application will result in the voiding of my application.
